The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfredo Rea's late challenge caught a Ciruel Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Rea helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, Borgo Doria F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Rea to maneuver through the defense. Christian Trombetta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zarando Cordoba in the 5th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Borgo Doria F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zarando Cordoba came free, but Christian Trombetta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borgo Doria F.C.'s Christian Trombetta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zarando Cordoba in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Borgo Doria F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giacomo Renzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Ciruel Team were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Soldado went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Sigfrido Soldado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Borgo Doria F.C.'s Christian Trombetta did a great save. In the 22nd minute, Lucas Grijander made a precise shot to the right of Christian Trombetta. Borgo Doria F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Daniele Di Gregorio scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christian Trombetta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zarando Cordoba's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Borgo Doria F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Grijander came free, but Christian Trombetta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zarando Cordoba got free with Christian Trombetta in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Trombetta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bahiano Gibert in the 38th minute of play. Christian Trombetta acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sigfrido Soldado. In the 44th minute, Zarando Cordoba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Trombetta was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 48 minutes into the match, Borgo Doria F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Grijander came free, but Christian Trombetta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zarando Cordoba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniele Di Gregorio in the 52nd minute of play. Lucas Grijander hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Pedro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Arrigo Sciarretta sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Bernardo Pennetta took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Pedro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. Pedro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Pennetta in the 64th minute of play. Alessandro Lerte hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Carmine Magliocco kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Oliviero Cambero, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ciruel Team were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Borgo Doria F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oliviero Cambero took the corner. Oliviero Cambero made a great header on Ciruel Team's corner, it was just that Borgo Doria F.C.'s Christian Trombetta managed to reach the ball for a save. 79 minutes into the match, Ciruel Team's Bahiano Gibert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Trombetta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Borgo Doria F.C. booed when Ciruel Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cebrián Fonticoba didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Ciruel Team's goalkeeper Pedro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Pennetta. Zuberbuhler Gordo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christian Trombetta. Borgo Doria F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Christian Trombetta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zarando Cordoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Trombetta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Grijander went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Many of Borgo Doria F.C.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Borgo Doria F.C. may have spent more time on the ball, but Ciruel Team were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
