Várzea F.C.'s Romeu Batista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Várzea F.C. from getting a goal against them. Roberto Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, 哥伦布 杨晨 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Romeu Batista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match.
