An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodim Pârâianu in the 15th minute of play forced F.Salgado F.C.'s goalkeeper Matt Ryan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Moreno came free, but Manuel Tufescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Moreno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Tufescu was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. FC MCM's Manuel Tufescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Moreno in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Moreno in the 34th minute of play forced FC MCM's goalkeeper Manuel Tufescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Teodoro Moreno came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the F.Salgado F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Moreno couldn't finish the play. In the 41st match minute, FC MCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mircea Bodiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Teodoro Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Tufescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicodim Pârâianu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Matt Ryan made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Moreno was the one to do the kick off. Matt Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Redisz in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Paulo José França threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC MCM's Mircea Bodiu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mugur Jupâneanu charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mugur Jupâneanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th match minute, FC MCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugur Jupâneanu to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Tufescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Mugur Jupâneanu made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by F.Salgado F.C.'s Dawid Dziewulski. In the 78th minute, Radomil Redisz made a precise shot to the right of Matt Ryan. F.Salgado F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 82nd minute, Teodoro Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, F.Salgado F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Redisz came free, but Matt Ryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 played minutes FC MCM got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Bodiu. Many of F.Salgado F.C.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. F.Salgado F.C. may have spent more time on the ball, but FC MCM were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
