The crowd rose to their feet as Almazarrón's Arturo Domenech slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alessandro de Souza. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. After 13 played minutes Almazarrón got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Lastras. After 14 minutes, Acácio Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C.PAULISTA and the Almazarrón players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alessandro de Souza was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Arturo Domenech capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arturo Domenech really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Alessandro de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Arroyo in the 19th minute of play. Alessandro de Souza made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Arturo Domenech sent off a good shot on target. Juanito Rey scored 3-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alessandro de Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lisandro Lastras struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Alessandro de Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almazarrón. Alessandro de Souza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arturo Domenech showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 26 minute of play. In the 30th minute, Eliézer Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Arturo Domenech came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Almazarrón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Domenech couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Juanito Rey in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by S.C.PAULISTA's Erik Mesquita. After 46 minutes, Timoteo Arroyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almazarrón and the S.C.PAULISTA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Timoteo Arroyo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogério Sampaio made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Domenech in the 59th minute of play forced S.C.PAULISTA's goalkeeper Alessandro de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 played minutes S.C.PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Leite. Alessandro de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Lastras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, S.C.PAULISTA's Claudinei Godoi got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 68 played minutes, Almazarrón's Lisandro Lastras shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alessandro de Souza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Almazarrón reached it. 70 minutes into the game, Lisandro Lastras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Alessandro de Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 72 minutes into the match, Lisandro Lastras notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of S.C.PAULISTA's Alessandro de Souza. Alessandro de Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alessandro de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Domenech, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Sampaio in the 80th minute of play. The Almazarrón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. 89 minutes into the game, Almazarrón's Cordareo Manrique nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alessandro de Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. The supporters of Almazarrón booed when S.C.PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Almazarrón had played much better football throughout.
