Leopoldo Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the match, Maximus Puck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Östen Röd. The Shadows's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximus Puck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Tribos 4EVER's Maximus Puck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Östen Röd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Östen Röd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Tavares in the 13th minute of play. Östen Röd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximus Puck in the 16th minute of the match. Maximus Puck took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Östen Röd. Östen Röd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Pål Hjortsberg charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pål Hjortsberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pål Hjortsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pål Hjortsberg in the 29th minute of play forced Tribos 4EVER's goalkeeper Frederico de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Tribos 4EVER's Cacá Arósio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Östen Röd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The audience was convinced that Gary Lineker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederico de Queirós was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Pål Hjortsberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Tribos 4EVER booed when The Shadows was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pål Hjortsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cacá Arósio in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Östen Röd saved The Shadows from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leopoldo Tavares to make the kick off. Östen Röd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacá Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Cacá Arósio scored 0-7 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Östen Röd, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goalkeeper Östen Röd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Tavares. In the 61stth minute of the game Cacá Arósio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Shadows's Östen Röd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Cacá Arósio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tribos 4EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Cacá Arósio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Östen Röd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Shadows's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cacá Arósio 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. Tribos 4EVER made a substitution. Joaquim Vega replaced Nilmar Velloso. In the 81st minute, Alf Wiklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tribos 4EVER's Cacá Arósio got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, The Shadows's Östen Röd got control of the ball when Leopoldo Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cacá Arósio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Östen Röd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. The corner ended in Sarracino Marsano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Shadows's Östen Röd did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gary Lineker in the 92nd minute of play forced Tribos 4EVER's goalkeeper Frederico de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Östen Röd was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cacá Arósio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 94 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tribos 4EVER eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
