Antonio Vachon charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Vachon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Algarrobo booed when KIRICOCHO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Vachon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, KIRICOCHO FC's goalkeeper Venancio Madaleno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimeno Carrera. Jimeno Carreras short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Venancio Madaleno to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, KIRICOCHO FC's Venancio Madaleno got control of the ball when Jimeno Carrera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adolf Eichmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venancio Madaleno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Algarrobo's Friedrich Händel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Venancio Madaleno. Venancio Madaleno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignacio Soter made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, KIRICOCHO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Soter to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolf Eichmann in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Madaleno saved KIRICOCHO FC from getting behind.
