In the 23rd minute Ronald Mc Donald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hennes Konig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes SalentoUnited's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ronald Mc Donald who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ronald Mc Donald almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SalentoUnited's Hennes Konig did a great save. SalentoUnited's Hennes Konig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Mc Donald in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Átomo F.C.'s Luiz Fernando Cerezo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute of the match, Markus Paul De La Rue got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dorival Travassos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hennes Konig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Mc Donald, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
