The corner ended in Mattias Theijs almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but White Star Troopers's Fryderyk Huk did a great save. SK Mons's Connor Osmond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klaas Jan van der Meer in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SK Mons's Mattias Theijs got a free kick in the 9th minute. Connor Osmond came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by White Star Troopers's Adam Proca. But to his dismay, Adam Proca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Connor Osmond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szymon Labus in the 18th minute of the match. Connor Osmond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaas Jan van der Meer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Connor Osmond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Proca in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, SK Mons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Theijs to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaas Jan van der Meer in the 32nd minute of play forced SK Mons's goalkeeper Connor Osmond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, SK Mons's Fryderyk Huk threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Steven Puttemans, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jerzy Jastrowicz took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Connor Osmond. Connor Osmond dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 38th minute, Klaas Jan van der Meer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The White Star Troopers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 47 played minutes White Star Troopers got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Zaremba. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steven Puttemans in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fryderyk Huk saved White Star Troopers from getting behind. Connor Osmond made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Klaas Jan van der Meer sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Vrijdags during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. White Star Troopers made a substitution. Stefan Wawrukiewicz replaced Adam Proca. Cesar Vrijdags kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Jerzy Jastrowicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Connor Osmond having to make a save. In the 69thth minute of the game Klaas Jan van der Meer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Mons's Connor Osmond was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Connor Osmond stood somewhat misplaced when Klaas Jan van der Meer came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 70 minute. Cesar Vrijdags hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, SK Mons's goal looked a bit too open when Szymon Labus came free, but Connor Osmond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to White Star Troopers getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ludomil Zaremba hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Klaas Jan van der Meer made a precise shot to the right of Connor Osmond. SK Mons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. When Stefan Wawrukiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the White Star Troopers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Wawrukiewicz couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the match, Jerzy Jastrowicz notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of SK Mons's Connor Osmond. Connor Osmond was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tony Degraef might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fryderyk Huk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tony Degraef ran back to his position shaking his head.
