The supporters of Galo do Cerrado booed when FMArgentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Beremundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomero Gartzea acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Juan Tinoco. Baldomero Gartzea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cássio Matorin went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgard Beremundo to strike the kick off in the second half. Galo do Cerrado's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Santos Fresco scored to the left of an out of position Alfredinho Andrade, making the score, 1-5. Alfredinho Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camilo Precioso in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, FMArgentina's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Matorin came free, but Baldomero Gartzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FMArgentina getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Juan Tinoco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baldomero Gartzea.
