Andoni Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Pankowski in the 37th minute of play. Agustin Donio kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Jiang Li Kang took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Witold Dec. Witold Dec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Witold Dec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang Li Kang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

Spams's Maximiliano Peru was substituted for Silverio Truylos. Spams's Gaston Caetano was substituted for Abel Mazza. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfred Michalski made a kick off. Witold Dec was a little too slow when Ernesto Chinto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-7. Witold Dec was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Ernesto Chinto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernesto Chinto really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ernesto Chinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spams's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Chinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Witold Dec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Ernesto Chinto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Witold Dec. That made the score 0-12 in the 85 minute of play. The supporters of Spams booed when ↖ Sagittarius ↗ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Przemyslaw Poteralski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Ernesto Chinto notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s Witold Dec. Witold Dec was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Spams left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ↖ Sagittarius ↗.
