The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to FC Steaua Pildesti getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Moise Irod hit a great ball. Isac Cozmâncă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo De Matteis in the 3rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Steaua Pildesti's zone, Cristoforo Fanfarone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isac Cozmâncă came out of the goal and Cristoforo Fanfarone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isac Cozmâncă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristoforo Fanfarone went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Weltevedren's Cristoforo Fanfarone got a free kick in the 13th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Weltevedren's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Paulescu came free, but Lucas Perri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Augusto Bosco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Cozmâncă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennio Amadei in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Isac Cozmâncă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Steaua Pildesti's Augustin Nechifor shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lucas Perri but with some difficulty. A collision led to Weltevedren getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alessio Presutti hit a great ball. Lucas Perri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Iorgu, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Lucas Perri stood somewhat misplaced when Iulian Bobeanu came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 31 minute. After 34 played minutes Weltevedren got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo De Matteis. Răzvan Petrescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucas Perri. Weltevedren's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Costin Iorgu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Perri. Weltevedren's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Costin Iorgu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Lucas Perri didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Steaua Pildesti's Costin Iorgu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Weltevedren's Augusto Bosco got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 46 minutes, Codrin Udrea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Steaua Pildesti and the Weltevedren players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codrin Udrea to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the game, Augusto Bosco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Weltevedren's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Steaua Pildesti the free kick. After 47 played minutes Weltevedren got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Bosco.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ennio Amadei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Ennio Amadei tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isac Cozmâncă saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Isac Cozmâncă came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Weltevedren's Ennio Amadei. But to his dismay, Ennio Amadei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. With a little luck, FC Steaua Pildesti's Isac Cozmâncă got control of the ball when Cristoforo Fanfarone tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute of the match FC Steaua Pildesti got a corner. Weltevedren's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Răzvan Petrescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alessio Presutti got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costin Iorgu in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Perri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ennio Amadei came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Weltevedren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ennio Amadei couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristoforo Fanfarone got free with Isac Cozmâncă in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th match minute, Weltevedren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Bosco to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Cristoforo Fanfarone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weltevedren's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristoforo Fanfarone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isac Cozmâncă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ennio Amadei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Isac Cozmâncă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Augusto Bosco was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played.
