Pepe Santoro came out and tried to block the shot, but Candido Ovando slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. Pepe Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Skytt in the 28th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, NECKER49's Candido Ovando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pepe Santoro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. John Skytt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepe Santoro having to interfere. Pepe Santoro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John Skytt went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when John Skytt scored to the left of an out of position Pepe Santoro, making the score, 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John Skytt was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Policarpio came free, but Pepe Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pepe Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Skytt, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 75 minutes of play, NECKER49's Candido Ovando made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pepe Santoro was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Lino Fernado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
