The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Józef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Neufeld in the 3rd minute of the match. Jan Pietras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Cícero Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nils Neufeld's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Józef Wandzik was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. If Nils Neufeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cícero Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Pietras, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Petruț Măliță kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Cosmos 1984 NewDance got a freekick which was hit by Tobiasz Drzewucki. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Józef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petruț Măliță in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Nils Neufeld's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Józef Wandzik was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Nils Neufeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Józef Wandzik having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Otten's Gottfrid Tolsson got a free kick in the 25th minute. Nils Neufeld might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Józef Wandzik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nils Neufeld ran back to his position shaking his head. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Józef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Neufeld in the 30th minute of play. Nils Neufeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Józef Wandzik having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils Neufeld in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Józef Wandzik saved Cosmos 1984 NewDance from getting behind. Nils Neufeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Józef Wandzik having to interfere. If Nils Neufeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan Pietras to strike the kick off in the second half. When Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Ludomil Wawro in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Otten's goalie prevented a goal. Józef Wandzik made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tadeu Koehler sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute Jan Pietras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cícero Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Otten's Cícero Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Pietras in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to SC Otten getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gunnar Halleck hit a great ball. SC Otten made a substitution. Lucas Bergvall replaced Petruț Măliță. In the 64th minute, Gunnar Halleck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils Neufeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Józef Wandzik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Neufeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cícero Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigiusz Barys in the 68th minute of play. Nils Neufeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils Neufeld charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils Neufeld the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ludomil Wawro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cícero Proença having to interfere. If Nils Neufeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Józef Wandzik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils Neufeld in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Neufeld in the 82nd minute of play forced Cosmos 1984 NewDance's goalkeeper Józef Wandzik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nils Neufeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobiasz Drzewucki's late challenge caught a SC Otten's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobiasz Drzewucki helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cosmos 1984 NewDance getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tobiasz Drzewucki hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Bergvall got free with Józef Wandzik in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Lucas Bergvall came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the SC Otten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Bergvall couldn't finish the play.
