Gernot Sell hit a great ball. In the 46th minute Rigo Stossun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigo Stossun in the 47th minute of play. Agnaldo Tinoco charged in rather forcefully in the 49th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agnaldo Tinoco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 49th minute, Bruno Wiederhold sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and União Verde FC's Francisco Taffarel didn't even have to move.

STARGARD FC's Gernot Sell suffered a concussion after 60 minutes and had to leave the field. União Verde FC's Agnaldo Tinoco got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. Francisco Taffarel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute, Rigo Stossun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roque Reuter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauã Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, STARGARD FC's Bruno Wiederhold got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute of the match Gil Paiva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roque Reuter skillfully saved the ball. In the 85th minute, Cauã Maciel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in União Verde FC's zone, Bruno Wiederhold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Taffarel came out of the goal and Bruno Wiederhold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cauã Maciel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roque Reuter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. If Fernandão Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
