In the 9th match minute, Tequileros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Abella to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Real Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Abella came free, but Alisson Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Carlos Bran put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Norbert Kalemba. A collision led to Real Juniors getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jamaal Musiala hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Pedro Raitin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tequileros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Raitin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alisson Becker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alisson Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Lorien in the 31st minute of play. Exequiel Palacios hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Real Juniors's Alisson Becker got control of the ball when Victorio Basajaun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victorio Basajaun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Alisson Becker made a huge save. When Tequileros FC's Victorio Basajaun in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Juniors's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorio Basajaun was the one to do the kick off. Cosme Abella took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alisson Becker. Alisson Becker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 56th minute, Exequiel Palacios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorio Basajaun might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alisson Becker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victorio Basajaun ran back to his position shaking his head. Alisson Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Basajaun in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Tequileros FC booed when Real Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Najarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Ildefonso Lorien ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alisson Becker was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Filiberto Bittor hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Alisson Becker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Basajaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Kevinn De Bruyne hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 85th match minute, Tequileros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Lorien to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Tequileros FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Cosme Abella hit a great ball. Tequileros FC were furious when Kevinn De Bruyne was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 91 played minutes Tequileros FC got a freekick which was hit by Kevinn De Bruyne. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
