The Power Guido FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michal Noworolnik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 26th minute José Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Digmārs Biete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Romeu de Queirós left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Power Guido FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Digmārs Biete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeu de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 47th minute, GAUJA's Qiao Mo Xi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Qiao Mo Xi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of GAUJA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Qiao Mo Xi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of GAUJA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Power Guido FC:s goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michal Noworolnik was the one to do the kick off. Digmārs Biete came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by The Power Guido FC's Percy de Queirós. But to his dismay, Percy de Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michal Noworolnik in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reynaldo Gomes saved The Power Guido FC from getting behind. In the 58th minute Wiliam Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Digmārs Biete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Digmārs Biete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Simão Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rdth minute of the game José Dias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GAUJA's Digmārs Biete was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. GAUJA's Digmārs Biete proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save GAUJA from getting a goal against them. The Power Guido FC's Nestor Cardozo was substituted for Carlos Augusto Meirelles. Digmārs Biete made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeu de Queirós in the 96th minute. The Power Guido FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
