After 14 played minutes, XENEIXES FC's Arnoldo Balendin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Generoso Gonzalez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in XENEIXES FC reached it. Ambrosio Eutropio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Generoso Gonzalez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Patrido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Generoso Gonzalez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ambrosio Eutropio in the 31st minute. Luciano Hats kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Generoso Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Estevon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Estevon in the 37th minute of the match. When Gustavo-Hernán Egoi came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo-Hernán Egoi couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reynaldo Estevon made a kick off. After a rather tough play, XENEIXES FC's Octavio Salvatore got a free kick in the 51st minute. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivan Patrido came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustavo-Hernán Egoi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 52nd minute. XENEIXES FC's Sven Østlund was substituted for Beto Carranza. XENEIXES FC's Armando Michael was substituted for Severiano Lop. The supporters of Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka booed when XENEIXES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Balendin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka made a substitution. Bengt-Arne Åberg replaced Gustavo-Hernán Egoi. In the 66th match minute, XENEIXES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Guillerme to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Elvio Guillerme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Rauno Rank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Patrido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Rauno Rank kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Bengt-Arne Åberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Patrido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Aaron Jokin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ivan Patrido in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka played a much better game than XENEIXES FC and deserved their victory. The XENEIXES FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
