The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cornelio Bermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wes Case, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 32 minutes of play, Valencia C.F.'s Rodolfo Eleazar made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Bermudo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Eleazar came free, but Cornelio Bermudo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Raimundo Mantzio put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Raimundo Mantzio hit a great ball. Rodolfo Eleazar, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Adam Harding managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valencia C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Harding was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Bermudo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Eleazar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornelio Bermudo. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Eleazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Vincent Janssen was substituted for Armando Quezada. In the 87th minute Wes Case shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Bermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Eleazar struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Cornelio Bermudo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valencia C.F.. 91 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Eleazar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornelio Bermudo. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valencia C.F. the free kick. Cipriano Chus kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Valencia C.F. played a much better game than Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ and deserved their victory. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
