Remus Pinczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Azevedo in the 2nd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, MIT Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Sobis came free, but Remus Pinczewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute Sebastião Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Pinczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Bandelocos from getting a goal against them. Andrei Florei kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Sebastião Azevedo didn't quite understand what happened when in the 25 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Nilson do Vale was a little too slow when Cristinel Bocaneț got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 42nd match minute, MIT Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avram Mititelu to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iustin Chificeac in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilson do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafael Sobis to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iustin Chificeac in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilson do Vale saved Bandelocos from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Iustin Chificeac's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nilson do Vale was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Iustin Chificeac sped through Bandelocos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nilson do Vale. The throw-in from Ricardinho Vale in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MIT Craiova's Andrei Florei. Nilson do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Chificeac in the 77th minute of play. Marin Brașoveanu kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes, Bandelocos's Sebastião Azevedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Remus Pinczewski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Nilson do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustin Chificeac, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Chificeac in the 90th minute of play forced Bandelocos's goalkeeper Nilson do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iustin Chificeac scored 4-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nilson do Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the game, MIT Craiova's Iustin Chificeac nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilson do Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. There was no doubt that MIT Craiova were the better team. MIT Craiova's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
