But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Papi Hamburger couldn't finish the play. After having played for 7 minutes, João Vítor Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futuros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Vítor Galvão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goalkeeper Nilson do Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Papi Hamburger. After 16 minutes Futuros FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebastião Azevedo who took care of the corner kick. Sebastião Azevedo made a great header on Bandelocos's corner, it was just that Futuros FC's Manga Fenomeno managed to reach the ball for a save. Futuros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Bandelocos booed when Futuros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manga Fenomeno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bater Cuca made a kick off. Rafael Sobis kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Bandelocos defense, Bater Cuca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilson do Vale. The Bandelocos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilson do Vale should have stopped the shot. Manga Fenomeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd match minute, Futuros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Salgado to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Bater Cuca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Futuros FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bandelocos's performance. The match ended with a win for Bandelocos.
