The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristinel Leluțiu was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Leluțiu in the 79th minute of play forced Aris Salonicco FC's goalkeeper Biagio Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Basarab Teleagă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Biagio Polo. Aris Salonicco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basarab Teleagă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Biagio Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basarab Teleagă in the 97th minute of play. Aris Salonicco FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
