It was Anier Beliran who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Loco Cabezon's Anier Beliran to fire away a dangerous shot which A.J. Idachaba despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Robby De Graef who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Gabriel Beturian when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A.J. Idachaba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Ur, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The supporters of FC Gullegem booed when Loco Cabezon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Lauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Boni in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck A.J. Idachaba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A.J. Idachaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Boni in the 34th minute of play. Robby De Graef could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Gabriel Beturian made a huge save. A.J. Idachaba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the game, Mattias Van de Wal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Gullegem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loco Cabezon the free kick. Modesto Boni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Gullegem's A.J. Idachaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Boni in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robby De Graef to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Gullegem's Robby De Graef got a free kick in the 54th minute. Modesto Boni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabriel Beturian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerom Walters went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Modesto Boni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg A.J. Idachaba managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Loco Cabezon's Cristo Gaufred fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A.J. Idachaba stood somewhat misplaced when Cristo Gaufred came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 63 minute. 69 minutes into the game, Loco Cabezon's Bruno Bermudez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. A.J. Idachaba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Modesto Boni got free with A.J. Idachaba in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Bruno Bermudez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. A.J. Idachaba was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Norbert Van Beets charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norbert Van Beets the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Norbert Van Beets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A.J. Idachaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Beliran in the 82nd minute of the match. Robby De Graef kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Gabriel Beturian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthieu Van Deijck in the 88th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, FC Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Bermudez came free, but A.J. Idachaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A.J. Idachaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Boni in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Loco Cabezon left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Gullegem.
