In the 6th minute of the match Melvin Diawara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santo Firmo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Team Reunion974's Quentin Peyrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Iraido in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Team Reunion974 booed when Rocky Balboa F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quentin Peyrot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torjus Rønneberg went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 23 minutes into the game, Paul-Henri Belair was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Team Reunion974's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rocky Balboa F.C. the free kick. After 23 played minutes Team Reunion974 got a freekick which was hit by Paul-Henri Belair. Team Reunion974's Quentin Peyrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Iraido in the 26th minute of play. Ronald Vergnes kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Melvin Diawara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Santo Firmo. The goal made the score 1-1. Santo Firmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmond Demay, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Santo Firmo was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Edmond Demay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmond Demay really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Santo Firmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmond Demay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torjus Rønneberg in the 39th minute of play forced Team Reunion974's goalkeeper Quentin Peyrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Santo Firmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmond Demay in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th minute Edmond Demay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Firmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Paul-Henri Belair could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Santo Firmo however easily saved by the left post. 48 minutes into the match, Rocky Balboa F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Paul-Henri Belair came free, but Santo Firmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmond Demay to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Melvin Diawara notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Santo Firmo. Santo Firmo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Team Reunion974 getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ange Batista hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Paul-Henri Belair sped through Rocky Balboa F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Santo Firmo. Paul-Henri Belair was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 66 played minutes Team Reunion974 got a freekick which was hit by Paul-Henri Belair. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Cresencio in the 69th minute of play forced Team Reunion974's goalkeeper Quentin Peyrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute of the match, Anibal Astrada tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Quentin Peyrot saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Torjus Rønneberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Quentin Peyrot when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmond Demay in the 77th minute of play forced Rocky Balboa F.C.'s goalkeeper Santo Firmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Melvin Diawara came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Team Reunion974 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melvin Diawara couldn't finish the play. Cristian Diegotxe's late challenge caught a Team Reunion974's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Diegotxe helped the player get up and apologised. Cristian Diegotxe hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Torjus Rønneberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Team Reunion974's Renaud Moulinier got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Melvin Diawara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Melvin Diawara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Team Reunion974's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
