Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thys Konings started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, PP Plessydask's goal looked a bit too open when Lukas Coekelbergh came free, but Tony Tøndergaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Yves Justens got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 5 played minutes Royal Antwerp F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Dropinski. Marcin Harasimowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th match minute, PP Plessydask was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Zander to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Conrad Rauvoe got a free kick in the 11th minute. Tony Tøndergaard made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Thys Konings sent off a good shot on target. PP Plessydask's Tony Tøndergaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Dropinski in the 17th minute of play. Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Marcin Harasimowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steffe De Prins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Royal Antwerp F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jan Huybrechts. Steffe De Prins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Palle Paalgard in the 29th minute of play. Ryszard Dropinski kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Marcin Harasimowicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PP Plessydask fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 40th minute, Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer made a precise shot to the right of Steffe De Prins. Royal Antwerp F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half PP Plessydask were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Royal Antwerp F.C. booed when PP Plessydask was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcin Harasimowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thys Konings in the 52nd minute of play forced PP Plessydask's goalkeeper Tony Tøndergaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrad Rauvoe kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palle Paalgard in the 59th minute of play forced Royal Antwerp F.C.'s goalkeeper Steffe De Prins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The shot was a little too simple and Steffe De Prins could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Royal Antwerp F.C.'s zone, Gösta Zander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steffe De Prins came out of the goal and Gösta Zander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Yves Justens fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Royal Antwerp F.C.'s protests and gave Yves Justens a yellow card for diving instead. Yves Justens kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Tony Tøndergaard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Huybrechts, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After some careless play in the PP Plessydask defense, Jan Huybrechts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Tøndergaard. The PP Plessydask fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Tøndergaard should have stopped the shot. Marcin Harasimowicz struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Steffe De Prins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PP Plessydask. 88 minutes into the match, Lukas Coekelbergh notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of PP Plessydask's Tony Tøndergaard. Tony Tøndergaard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute, PP Plessydask's Marcin Harasimowicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3.
