Sarmis Logs did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Ali Adjani 4 minutes into the match. Adam Sandbakken struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Gaidis Vaicahovskis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laniakea. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sarmis Logs got free with Ali Adjani in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Laniakea's goal looked a bit too open when Andris Freimentāls came free, but Ali Adjani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans-Erik Osland hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mārcis Pripāns in the 22nd minute of play forced Laniakea's goalkeeper Ali Adjani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Adjani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mārcis Pripāns in the 27th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Black horses's Ali Adjani threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andris Freimentāls, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 34th minute Eilert Nordlie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaidis Vaicahovskis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaidis Vaicahovskis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Sandbakken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laniakea's Ali Adjani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Laniakea from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Eilert Nordlie made a precise shot to the right of Gaidis Vaicahovskis. Black horses's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ali Adjani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sarmis Logs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute of the match Black horses got a corner. Laniakea's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jānis Blaumanis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ali Adjani was a little too slow when Mārcis Pripāns got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hans-Erik Osland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ali Adjani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Sējējs went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Laniakea getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Anders Vestby hit a great ball. Gaidis Vaicahovskis made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Adam Sandbakken sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, Laniakea's goal looked a bit too open when Sarmis Logs came free, but Ali Adjani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Black horses's goalkeeper Gaidis Vaicahovskis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans-Erik Osland. Ali Adjani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Sējējs in the 68th minute of play. Black horses's Pēteris Kapteinis was substituted for Mārcis Pripāns. After 73 played minutes Black horses got a freekick which was hit by Lauris Kārlis. Ali Adjani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pēteris Kapteinis, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Andris Freimentāls took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ali Adjani. Ali Adjani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. When Black horses's Sarmis Logs in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Laniakea's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Black horses's Gaidis Vaicahovskis got control of the ball when Adam Sandbakken tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Hans-Erik Osland got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gaidis Vaicahovskis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Sandbakken in the 89th minute of play forced Black horses's goalkeeper Gaidis Vaicahovskis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans-Erik Osland's late challenge caught a Black horses's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans-Erik Osland helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Laniakea getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Hans-Erik Osland hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sarmis Logs in the 96th minute of play forced Laniakea's goalkeeper Ali Adjani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Black horses fans cheered their team off the field, for while Laniakea had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
