In the 4th minute, Argi Abad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the game, C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Miguel Gilabert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Perico Abellaneda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's goal looked a bit too open when Argi Abad came free, but Leo Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Miguel Gilabert dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Silvestre Florin kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Miguel Gilabert managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Gilabert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perico Abellaneda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Gilabert succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 24th playminute. Miguel Gilabert charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Gilabert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leo Franco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Argi Abad's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Miguel Gilaberts short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Perico Abellaneda to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Mandarina Mecánica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonathan Marley was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of La Mandarina Mecánica's goalie and right to Javier Milei. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. La Mandarina Mecánica's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 32 minutes, Leonardo Odilon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. BOCA JUNIORS and the La Mandarina Mecánica players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, C.A. BOCA JUNIORS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Odilon to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Argi Abad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Marley kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes, La Mandarina Mecánica's Mano Abello shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leo Franco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Mandarina Mecánica reached it. The supporters of La Mandarina Mecánica booed when C.A. BOCA JUNIORS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Etor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Etor hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Leo Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argi Abad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Argi Abad was the one to do the kick off. Leo Franco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Argi Abad in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute of the match, Txilar Abeita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leo Franco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to C.A. BOCA JUNIORS getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Atilano Bembe hit a great ball. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS made a substitution. Gabriel-Omar Batista replaced Miguel Gilabert. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Aldo Gilen was substituted for Silvestre Florin. The supporters of La Mandarina Mecánica booed when C.A. BOCA JUNIORS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Bembe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, La Mandarina Mecánica's Mano Abello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leo Franco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Argi Abad in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leo Franco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. La Mandarina Mecánica's Sancho Abeitia was substituted for Mano Abello. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Mandarina Mecánica. La Mandarina Mecánica:s Perico Abellaneda showed great skill when he stopped Gabriel-Omar Batista:s penalty. Perico Abellaneda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Argi Abad who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Leo Franco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Argi Abad in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Franco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
