Alvar Kinell kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Måns Berglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urko Merida having to interfere. The supporters of I.A.S.A booed when Garsås IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Asmundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Jerrold Arancibia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven Askberg. Garsås IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jerrold Arancibia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Sven Askberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Paza in the 17th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Caetano Paza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Askberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Caetano Paza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven Askberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gunnar Asmundsson during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Garsås IF got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Asmundsson. In the 34th minute, I.A.S.A's Alexandro Mansilla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sven Askberg. Sven Askberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 37th minute, Blasco Cerio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven Askberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Sven Askberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandro Mansilla in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandro Mansilla in the 42nd minute of play forced Garsås IF's goalkeeper Sven Askberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as I.A.S.A's Alexandro Mansilla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sven Askberg. That made the score 5-0 after 45 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charles Vennerdal to strike the kick off in the second half. Sven Askberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandro Mansilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ingvar Wallgren's late challenge caught a I.A.S.A's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingvar Wallgren helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Garsås IF's Ingvar Wallgren got a free kick in the 60th minute. Garsås IF's Sven Askberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blasco Cerio in the 62nd minute of play. Sven Askberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blasco Cerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Askberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blasco Cerio in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rdth minute of the game Blasco Cerio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garsås IF's Sven Askberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jerry Danielsson hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Garsås IF's Sven Askberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandro Mansilla in the 76th minute of play. After 79 played minutes I.A.S.A got a freekick which was hit by Inko Zumel. Sven Askberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandro Mansilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Askberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Paza in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's goal looked a bit too open when Blasco Cerio came free, but Sven Askberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Garsås IF's Jerry Danielsson got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blasco Cerio in the 93rd minute of play forced Garsås IF's goalkeeper Sven Askberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Blasco Cerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Askberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blasco Cerio in the 95th minute of play forced Garsås IF's goalkeeper Sven Askberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. I.A.S.A had played much better football throughout.
