After a rather tough play, Diablofaryd F.C.'s Fulgencio Panfilo got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Thijs Sturm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Domingo Figueroa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ernest Roelofs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Figueroa having to interfere. In the 21st minute Christiaan Beerthuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Figueroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Diablofaryd F.C. defense, Thijs Sturm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingo Figueroa. The Diablofaryd F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingo Figueroa should have stopped the shot. Diablofaryd F.C.'s Domingo Figueroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thijs Sturm in the 29th minute of play. Domingo Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melvin Jurjens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Diablofaryd F.C. defense, Jan Dekens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingo Figueroa. The Diablofaryd F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingo Figueroa should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thijs Sturm in the 37th minute of play forced Diablofaryd F.C.'s goalkeeper Domingo Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thijs Sturm in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingo Figueroa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Eate during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fulgencio Panfilo's late challenge caught a Homegrown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulgencio Panfilo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Diablofaryd F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Panfilo to maneuver through the defense. Geale Scheper was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gabriel Eate showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 45 minute of play. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thijs Sturm to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Roelofs in the 58th minute of play forced Diablofaryd F.C.'s goalkeeper Domingo Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Thijs Sturm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Figueroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Figueroa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernest Roelofs in the 64th minute. When Fulgencio Panfilo came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Diablofaryd F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulgencio Panfilo couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Homegrown's Melvin Jurjens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Domingo Figueroa. Domingo Figueroa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-7. When Gabriel Eate was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Diablofaryd F.C.'s Gabriel Eate got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute Franck van Zwam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Figueroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute Ernest Roelofs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Figueroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Figueroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franck van Zwam, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Diablofaryd F.C.'s Domingo Figueroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Roelofs in the 94th minute of play. Homegrown played a much better game than Diablofaryd F.C. and deserved their victory. The Diablofaryd F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
