Aster Brasil Futebol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Dito Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bjørn Ringnes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, Aster Brasil Futebol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Grønstad came free, but Marcel Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bjørn Ringnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Severo in the 13th minute of the match. Bjørn Ringnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 played minutes Aster Brasil Futebol Club got a freekick which was hit by Silvério Ferreira. Joachim Follestad scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcel Soares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Lost in pace booed when Aster Brasil Futebol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvério Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Øyvind Åsland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcel Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Lost in pace's Alexander Kanestrøm got a free kick in the 39th minute. Dito Brasil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Bjørn Ringnes made a huge save. Bjørn Ringnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Custódio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute of the match Aster Brasil Futebol Club got a corner. Lost in pace's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dito Brasil ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Dito Brasil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bjørn Ringnes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Øyvind Åsland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Øyvind Åsland made the kick off in the second half. Bjørn Ringnes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lauro Freire went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Joachim Follestad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Marcel Soares made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Freire in the 63rd minute of play forced Lost in pace's goalkeeper Bjørn Ringnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lost in pace booed when Aster Brasil Futebol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Follestad, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Joachim Follestad who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Marcel Soares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Silvério Ferreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bjørn Ringnes having to make a save. Alexander Kanestrøm lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Alexander Kanestrøm kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Bjørn Ringnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dito Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lauro Freire struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. The Lost in pace supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lost in pace would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
