Prodan Kondarev kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Londrina got a freekick which was hit by João Vítor Pinho. Edvaldo Medeiros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anani Kotorov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Asparuh Genovski got free with Edvaldo Medeiros in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edvaldo Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Asparuh Genovski sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Londrina's Edvaldo Medeiros got control of the ball when Ivan Zafirov tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Londrina's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Zafirov came free, but Edvaldo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC CSKA were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Londrina's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ivan Zafirov took the corner. The corner ended in Ivan Zafirov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Londrina's Edvaldo Medeiros did a great save. Edvaldo Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bozhil Krushovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evlogi Belyovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Albuquerque in the 32nd minute of play. Asparuh Genovski had several of the Londrina's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Edvaldo Medeiros as he didn't even see the shot coming. Londrina's Edvaldo Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Londrina from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Londrina getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ronaldão de Medeiros hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, FC CSKA's Asparuh Genovski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edvaldo Medeiros. Edvaldo Medeiros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 42 minutes into the match, Londrina's goal looked a bit too open when Anani Kotorov came free, but Edvaldo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Maciel hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Anani Kotorov managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC CSKA's supporters rose to their feet, but Anani Kotorov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvaldo Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th minute, FC CSKA's Asparuh Genovski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edvaldo Medeiros. Edvaldo Medeiros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anani Kotorov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, FC CSKA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anani Kotorov to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Anani Kotorov made a precise shot to the right of Edvaldo Medeiros. Londrina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Edvaldo Medeiros came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by FC CSKA's Asparuh Genovski. But to his dismay, Asparuh Genovski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After 69 minutes, Asparuh Genovski made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Londrina's Edvaldo Medeiros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC CSKA made a substitution. Stiliyan Petrov replaced Bozhil Krushovski. Edvaldo Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anani Kotorov in the 76th minute of the match. Edvaldo Medeiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anani Kotorov went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Asparuh Genovski took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvaldo Medeiros. Edvaldo Medeiros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Edvaldo Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stiliyan Petrov, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. FC CSKA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
