After a rather tough play, Uruguaiana's Remo Ferreira got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Eliézer Recife showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Olsman, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Uruguaiana's Eliézer Recife proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguaiana from getting a goal against them. Elias Ståhlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Olsman took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliézer Recife. Eliézer Recife dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 34 minutes into the game, Wágner Reis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguaiana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AZAT MARD FC the free kick. In the 34th minute, Wágner Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Uruguaiana getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Dráusio Quirino hit a great ball. Uruguaiana's Eliézer Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Olsman in the 36th minute of play. Josef Vennerström scored 2-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliézer Recife, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute, Wágner Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pär Löfdahl was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wágner Reis to make the kick off. Uruguaiana's Eliézer Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Olsman in the 53rd minute of play. In the 61st minute Martin Olsman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliézer Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Johannes Ahlquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 62 minutes into the match, Uruguaiana's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Ahlquist came free, but Eliézer Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wágner Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Pär Löfdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 minutes of play, AZAT MARD FC's Elias Ståhlberg made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliézer Recife was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josef Vennerström during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Uruguaiana booed when AZAT MARD FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Vennerström didn't get a good kick on the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Aníbal Varela heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Vennerström in the 88th minute of play forced Uruguaiana's goalkeeper Eliézer Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Martin Olsman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliézer Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes Uruguaiana got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Lima. In the 92nd minute Johannes Ahlquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliézer Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliézer Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Lundkvist in the 93rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Uruguaiana defense, Josef Vennerström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliézer Recife. The Uruguaiana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliézer Recife should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the AZAT MARD FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
