In the 7th minute Vivaldo Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8thth minute of the game Urbano Sagrario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lupere FC's Vicente Catarinense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vivaldo Cavalcante scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Venancio Hodei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Franja Dorada F.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Isidro Cordeal hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Pontes in the 22nd minute of play forced Franja Dorada F.C.'s goalkeeper Venancio Hodei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franja Dorada F.C.'s Venancio Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Furlan in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Lupere FC's Ismael Furlan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Venancio Hodei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 27th minute Ismael Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Catarinense was a little too slow when Urbano Sagrario got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-2. 33 minutes into the match, Lupere FC's goalkeeper Vicente Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patricio Abajas. 35 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Cavalcante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Venancio Hodei. Franja Dorada F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vivaldo Cavalcante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Franja Dorada F.C.'s Bartolo Igon got a free kick in the 39th minute. Pio Piovezan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urbano Sagrario was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Ismael Furlan put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Venancio Hodei. Ismael Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 60thth minute of the game Leonardo Paio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lupere FC's Vicente Catarinense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Venancio Hodei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Cavalcante, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Ismael Furlan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Venancio Hodei having to make a save. Venancio Hodei made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Ismael Furlan sent off a good shot on target. After 72 played minutes Franja Dorada F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Cordeal. 74 minutes into the match, Ismael Furlan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Venancio Hodei. Franja Dorada F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Furlan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Paio during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Franja Dorada F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Paio to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Catarinense having to interfere. After 88 minutes, Dino Paiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lupere FC and the Franja Dorada F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lupere FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dino Paiva hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Franja Dorada F.C.'s Silvano Llorienzo got a free kick in the 95th minute. Lupere FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
