In the 5th minute, Tage Ekström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Gilbert Benett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cheetah Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Koolkerke the free kick. After 7 played minutes Cheetah Team got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Benett. Robby Van Malcot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Qvalfeldt having to interfere. Rutger Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Will Vos managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Koolkerke's supporters rose to their feet, but Will Vos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörgen Qvalfeldt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dick Forssell's late challenge caught a AFC Koolkerke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dick Forssell helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cheetah Team getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Dick Forssell hit a great ball. Lars De Roeck got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gery Walder. Will Vos kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Cheetah Team's Jörgen Qvalfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnold Peten in the 28th minute of play. Will Vos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tage Ekström struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Staf De Ketelaere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheetah Team. Staf De Ketelaere had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping David Berggren's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Staf De Ketelaere didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Berggren went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Pål Bratt hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's Tim-Jan Billen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Cheetah Team's Alex Ahlrot in 76 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Staf De Ketelaere guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 77 minutes into the game, Tim-Jan Billen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Koolkerke's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cheetah Team the free kick. A collision led to AFC Koolkerke getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Tim-Jan Billen hit a great ball. If Rutger Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes Cheetah Team got a freekick which was hit by Göran Stål. Will Vos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jörgen Qvalfeldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Bernard Swartenbroekx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cheetah Team's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
