The supporters of Sacronas Futbol Club booed when Sporting Clube de Gaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfried Zaha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Norbert Prus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sacronas Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Norbert Prus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Trubin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Ferreyra in the 10th minute of play forced Sporting Clube de Gaya's goalkeeper António Trubin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube de Gaya's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Manex came free, but António Trubin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Bernabe Ferreyra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Trubin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 minutes, Bernabe Ferreyra made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sporting Clube de Gaya's António Trubin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. António Trubin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Manex in the 15th minute of the match. Jorge Lisboa came free in the 18th minute and tried to tip the ball over Germán Luz, but to the joy of Sacronas Futbol Club's supporters the ball went over. In the 21stth minute of the game Zula Cytrynski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Clube de Gaya's António Trubin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. António Trubin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Ferreyra, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Manuel Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Germán Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Germán Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Göransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horácio Pedroso lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Sporting Clube de Gaya's João Tinoco was substituted for Fredy Montero. 44 minutes into the game, one of Sporting Clube de Gaya:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Sacronas Futbol Club. Norbert Prus stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving António Trubin. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernabe Ferreyra to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Sacronas Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Porto came free, but Germán Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tarcísio Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernabe Ferreyra got free with António Trubin in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube de Gaya's Li Shi Xiang got a free kick in the 67th minute. Severino Manex recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Germán Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Tinoco in the 76th minute of play. A hard shot 77 in the game by Bernabe Ferreyra from a close distance when the talented António Trubin managed to make a qualified save. Sporting Clube de Gaya's players were relieved. The supporters of Sporting Clube de Gaya booed when Sacronas Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Baristo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sporting Clube de Gaya's Paulino Maltez was substituted for Manuel Porto. In the 89th minute Jorge Lisboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germán Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sporting Clube de Gaya getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Li Shi Xiang hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Sacronas Futbol Club's Alberto Cuello got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Jorge Lisboa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Germán Luz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The Sporting Clube de Gaya supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sacronas Futbol Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Sacronas Futbol Club.
