When Christoph Heinrich fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's protests and gave Christoph Heinrich a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd minute, Christoph Heinrich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Batistuta might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hendrix Pentz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michel Batistuta ran back to his position shaking his head. Hendrix Pentz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 played minutes SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin got a freekick which was hit by Lennert Trapp. 14 minutes into the game, Carlos Lira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ADM Taquaras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin the free kick. After a rather tough play, ADM Taquaras's Carlos Lira got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Julius Bechstein shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michel Neuer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hendrix Pentz came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by ADM Taquaras's Michel Batistuta. But to his dismay, Michel Batistuta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Laurenz Gemar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matteo Kasseckert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Michel Batistuta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ADM Taquaras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Batistuta in the 32nd minute of play forced SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's goalkeeper Hendrix Pentz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christoph Heinrich struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Michel Neuer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin. After 37 minutes, Michel Ibrahimovic mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ADM Taquaras and the SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Michel Ibrahimovic kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Julius Bechstein threw the ball into play from the sideline. ADM Taquaras's Wilson Duarte quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, ADM Taquaras's Wilson Duarte got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half ADM Taquaras were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Max Rebsch made a kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Christoph Hering got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 56 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's goal looked a bit too open when Max Rebsch came free, but Michel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Neuer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Rebsch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michel Batistuta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hendrix Pentz came out and tried to block the shot, but Michel Batistuta slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 58th minute. Hendrix Pentz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herwig Fricke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Neuer having to interfere. Christoph Hering took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michel Neuer. ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Batistuta came free, but Hendrix Pentz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hendrix Pentz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Batistuta in the 73rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin defense, Michel Batistuta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hendrix Pentz. The SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hendrix Pentz should have stopped the shot. Hendrix Pentz came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by ADM Taquaras's Michel Ibrahimovic. But to his dismay, Michel Ibrahimovic quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7.
