In the 4thth minute of the game Antonio Barijho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xurupita FC's Hílton Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Cesinha Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xurupita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesinha Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Barijho in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hílton Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Antonio Barijho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hílton Costa was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Ubaldo Fillol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesinha Faria in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Fillol saved STARK F.C. from getting behind. In the 12th minute, Juarês de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15thth minute of the game Antonio Barijho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xurupita FC's Hílton Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hílton Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Barijho in the 26th minute. Hílton Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Barijho in the 27th minute of play. Ubaldo Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha Faria in the 30th minute of the match. Xurupita FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave STARK F.C. the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Xurupita FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! In the 45th minute, the referee gave STARK F.C. a penalty. Adolfo Bela looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Hílton Costa. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edu Pena to make the kick off. Ubaldo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Pena in the 52nd minute of play.
