In the 7th match minute, INDEPENDIENTE F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Avellaneda to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Tănăsocă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Daniel Tănăsocă made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Perrando. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some careless play in the INDEPENDIENTE F.C. defense, Daniel Tănăsocă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Perrando. The INDEPENDIENTE F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Perrando should have stopped the shot. Fernando Perrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Şoimaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Tănăsocă made a kick off. Alfredo Papo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Helmuth Duckadam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. The corner led INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Bernardo Cristofor to fire away a dangerous shot which Helmuth Duckadam despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cornelio Inges short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Helmuth Duckadam to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vama Veche ™'s goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Santiago Veto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. Santiago Veto hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE F.C. booed when Vama Veche ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionel Sandu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Cornelio Inge managed to get in a good position for a shot. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Inge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Dan Şoimaru came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Vama Veche ™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Şoimaru couldn't finish the play. Alfredo Papo spun around in front of the goal 81 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Vama Veche ™'s goal. Miguel Avellaneda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmuth Duckadam having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Papo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Helmuth Duckadam was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. If Alfredo Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Tănăsocă blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Perrando having to make a save. Fernando Perrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Tănăsocă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vama Veche ™'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
