Eliseu Sanches was left in no man's land by his defense there! João Carlos Neto struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Eliseu Sanches didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joxa mé trasan. Eliseu Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabin Macovei, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Joxa mé trasan's Sabin Macovei got a free kick in the 19th minute. João Carlos Neto scored 1-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseu Sanches, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eliseu Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Carlos Neto in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Hamílton Secco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joxa mé trasan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After 36 minutes of play, Joxa mé trasan's João Carlos Neto made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseu Sanches was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the match, João Carlos Neto notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Meninos do Morro F.C's Eliseu Sanches. Eliseu Sanches was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. João Carlos Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dráuzio Cordeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronnie Hellström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dadá Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eliseu Sanches made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when João Carlos Neto sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot by Mariusz Sebzda from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Eliseu Sanches's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. João Carlos Neto scored 1-8 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseu Sanches, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the match, João Carlos Neto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eliseu Sanches, 1-9. Arne Bronco charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arne Bronco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Joxa mé trasan's João Carlos Neto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eliseu Sanches. That made the score 1-10 after 73 minutes of play. In the 78th minute, Joxa mé trasan's Hamílton Secco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eliseu Sanches. Eliseu Sanches yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-11. In the 81st play minute João Carlos Neto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eliseu Sanches. 1-12. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Carlos Neto got free with Eliseu Sanches in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eliseu Sanches was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kevin Hellström. Meninos do Morro F.C's Eliseu Sanches proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Meninos do Morro F.C from getting a goal against them. If Hamílton Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute, Arne Bronco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eliseu Sanches. The goal made the score 1-13. If João Carlos Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over Joxa mé trasan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Meninos do Morro F.C throughout the match.
