Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Justo Casado ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Piquirenda FC booed when Ghostbusters CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Tuleiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 minutes, Reynaldo Pinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ghostbusters CF and the Piquirenda FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ghostbusters CF getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Reynaldo Pinto hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Efrain Ramone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Nanu. Ghostbusters CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efrain Ramone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 21st minute Andrea Pavel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Sugar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ghostbusters CF's Ivan Nanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Ramone in the 22nd minute of play. Ivan Nanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Rufio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Sugar made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Reynaldo Pinto sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Piquirenda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Basarab Surugiu came free, but Gregorio Sugar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Ghostbusters CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabin Butnaru to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Piquirenda FC's Niceto Iigo got a free kick in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reynaldo Pinto to strike the kick off in the second half. Gregorio Sugar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After 62 minutes of play Ghostbusters CF's Reynaldo Pinto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Ghostbusters CF's Reynaldo Pinto got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ivan Nanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Ramone in the 64th minute of the match. In the 64th match minute, Ghostbusters CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Pavel to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the game, Emilio Ganix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ghostbusters CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piquirenda FC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ghostbusters CF's zone, Ubaldo Bastian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Nanu came out of the goal and Ubaldo Bastian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucrețiu Surdu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregorio Sugar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Eliodor Purcaru kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Piquirenda FC's Justo Casado broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ivan Nanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pablo Rufio's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 87th minute of the match, Efrain Ramone tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ivan Nanu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Ramone in the 87th minute of play forced Ghostbusters CF's goalkeeper Ivan Nanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Lauaxeta kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The Piquirenda FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Piquirenda FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
