Sam Marcos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho de Salles in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rui Romero in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sam Marcos saved S O B E R A N O CIMZ from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Guto Cafuringa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sam Marcos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robinho de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sam Marcos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Romero in the 23rd minute of play. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Sam Marcos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Romero in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Ribeiro in the 31st minute of play forced BLACK STAR FC's goalkeeper Jeremias Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Robinho de Salles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Sam Marcos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guto Cafuringa hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Sam Marcos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Romero's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Rui Romero made a precise shot to the right of Sam Marcos. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Romero to make the kick off. Sam Marcos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Romero in the 54th minute of play. Dagoberto Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Jeremias Furlan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliézer de Queirós's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 57 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Eliézer de Queirós fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. With a little luck, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Sam Marcos got control of the ball when Robinho de Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute Eliézer de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Eliézer de Queirós notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of BLACK STAR FC's Jeremias Furlan. Jeremias Furlan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 69 minutes into the match, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalkeeper Sam Marcos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robinho de Salles. 70 minutes into the game, Gernando Ribeiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sam Marcos. Gernando Ribeiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Sam Marcos made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Robinho de Salles sent off a good shot on target. Wesley Mangueira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 78 minutes into the match, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalkeeper Sam Marcos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robinho de Salles. In the 80th minute of the match, Robinho de Salles got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sam Marcos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The BLACK STAR FC fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when BLACK STAR FC's Rui Romero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonçalo Torres in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guto Cafuringa's late challenge caught a BLACK STAR FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guto Cafuringa helped the player get up and apologised. Sam Marcos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elano Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Fred Pombal charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fred Pombal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Fred Pombal got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Antônio Linhares fired a really elegant long shot, but Sam Marcos threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. The S O B E R A N O CIMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BLACK STAR FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
