The supporters of Atlético Arenillas booed when Divorciados FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Brion didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes Atlético Arenillas got a freekick which was hit by Villegas Buzon. Roman Barrufet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Florin in the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Atlético Arenillas's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Florin came free, but Roman Barrufet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Fernando Brion left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Divorciados FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Beat Kellenberger kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lopez Coteron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fernando Brion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Roman Barrufet made a huge save. In the 61st match minute, Atlético Arenillas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvarez Onis to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 67 in the game by Fabricio Otsoa from a close distance when the talented Roman Barrufet managed to make a qualified save. Atlético Arenillas's players were relieved. The Divorciados FC fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Divorciados FC's Teodosio Florin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Roman Barrufet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fernando Brion showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 81 minute of play. Fabricio Otsoa took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Barrufet. Roman Barrufet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Fabricio Otsoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodosio Florin scored 0-12 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Barrufet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Divorciados FC played a much better game than Atlético Arenillas and deserved their victory. The Atlético Arenillas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
