When Epifanio Markel fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Martin de Tucuman's protests and gave Epifanio Markel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to San Martin de Tucuman getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Epifanio Markel hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the game, Simon Gonzalez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Amadeo Vincent was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Swift GTi FDC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Caetano Llantaron made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Hanni got free with Amadeo Vincent in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. San Martin de Tucuman's Amadeo Vincent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Gonzalez in the 57th minute of play. 程浩卫 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Lalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 played minutes Swift GTi FDC got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Hanni. 程浩卫 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Quiroga, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After some careless play in the San Martin de Tucuman defense, Simon Gonzalez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeo Vincent. Caetano Llantaron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Vincent having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Jeremias Hanni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeo Vincent. San Martin de Tucuman's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Hanni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After a rather tough play, Swift GTi FDC's Stasio Kochowski got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 97th minute, Simon Gonzalez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amadeo Vincent. The goal made the score 0-8. Swift GTi FDC played a much better game than San Martin de Tucuman and deserved their victory. The San Martin de Tucuman players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
