Rigoberto Ignazio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Reynardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Paulo Francho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save El Renacer del Quijano FC from getting a goal against them. 6 minutes into the match, El Renacer del Quijano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Laffitte came free, but Paulo Francho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venancio Palban kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Rogelio Laffitte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Q. T. I.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Laffitte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Francho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute Rogelio Laffitte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Francho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Aurelio Urbes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Ignazio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Aurelio Urbes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Aurelio Urbes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rigoberto Ignazio. Q. T. I.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelio Urbes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Paulo Francho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save El Renacer del Quijano FC from getting a goal against them. Q. T. I.'s Rigoberto Ignazio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Urbes in the 31st minute of play. Rigoberto Ignazio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Urbes went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 38 played minutes Q. T. I. got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Palban. Rigoberto Ignazio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Reynardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Q. T. I.'s Ildefonso Rivero got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Q. T. I.'s Rigoberto Ignazio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Urbes in the 45th minute of play. Rogelio Laffittes short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Paulo Francho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelio Urbes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rigoberto Ignazio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Urbes, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. If Aurelio Urbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 58 minutes, Aurelio Urbes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Renacer del Quijano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Urbes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute Justo Florian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Francho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aurelio Urbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Aurelio Urbes came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the El Renacer del Quijano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Urbes couldn't finish the play. Q. T. I.'s Aldo Erauso was substituted for Rogelio Laffitte. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Nicasio Raymond was substituted for Aurelio Urbes. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Paulo Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Erauso in the 67th minute of play. Nicasio Raymond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rigoberto Ignazio having to make a save. Justo Florian took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Francho. Paulo Francho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Humberto Reynardo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alejo Admon in the 76 minute of the game. Rigoberto Ignazio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Sayveon in the 79th minute. Paulo Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Florian in the 80th minute of play. Rigoberto Ignazio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Raymond in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute Justo Florian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Francho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute of the game Alejo Admon made a throw-in which Baldomero Fliz played forward. After a rather tough play, El Renacer del Quijano FC's German Pezzella got a free kick in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. El Renacer del Quijano FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
