Otávio Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordão Barbosa in the 3rd minute of the match. Otávio Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordão Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goal looked a bit too open when Jordão Barbosa came free, but Otávio Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enéas Ribeiro took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualter Carmo. Gualter Carmo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jens-Åke Kilstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. KINDERUZ's Horácio Eiró shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 11th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Otávio Massa but with some difficulty. A hard shot 13 in the game by Carlos Pacheco from a close distance when the talented Otávio Massa managed to make a qualified save. Danone CC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Åke Kilstedt in the 15th minute of play forced KINDERUZ's goalkeeper Gualter Carmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Pacheco came free, but Otávio Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Jens-Åke Kilstedt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gualter Carmo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 26 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goal looked a bit too open when Jordão Barbosa came free, but Otávio Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Danone CC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bruno Alves was slow to take the kick. During this time KINDERUZ's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Fernando Couto managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 33 minutes into the match, KINDERUZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Åke Kilstedt came free, but Gualter Carmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Danone CC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bruno Alves was slow to take the kick. During this time KINDERUZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Danone CC's goalie and right to António Silva. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Danone CC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordão Barbosa in the 38th minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Otávio Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Pacheco got free with Otávio Massa in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gualter Carmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Åke Kilstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. A collision led to Danone CC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Joachim Hornø hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enéas Ribeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Gilmar de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Danone CC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilmar de Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualter Carmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Otávio Massa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Pacheco went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordão Barbosa in the 61st minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Otávio Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Jens-Åke Kilstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danone CC made a substitution. Dito Neto replaced Gilmar de Godoi. Jens-Åke Kilstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 69 minutes, Carlos Pacheco made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Danone CC's Otávio Massa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st match minute, KINDERUZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Balsemão to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the game, Durval Avelar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KINDERUZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Danone CC the free kick. The goalkeeper, Gualter Carmo, was totally fooled by Danone CC's Enéas Ribeiro, who 74 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Enéas Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Carmo having to interfere. A collision led to KINDERUZ getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Carlos Pacheco hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in KINDERUZ's zone, Dito Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualter Carmo came out of the goal and Dito Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Fernando Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danone CC's Otávio Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordão Barbosa in the 85th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Jordão Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otávio Massa. Danone CC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jordão Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Danone CC's Joachim Hornø got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 95 minutes, Dito Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Danone CC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dito Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
