With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gökçek Kolçak in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustino Azevedo saved Azulgranas AFC from getting behind. Faustino Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökçek Kolçak in the 11th minute of play. Gökçek Kolçak scored 2-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faustino Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Gökçek Kolçak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustino Azevedo was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Azulgranas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gökçek Kolçak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Azulgranas AFC's Faustino Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Azulgranas AFC from getting a goal against them. Faustino Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökçek Kolçak in the 44th minute of play. Faustino Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökçek Kolçak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 48 minutes, Tomás Frasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azulgranas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Frasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Laureano Guipuzkoa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Faustino Azevedo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tomás Frasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Marian Chilavert made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomás Frasco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marian Chilavert. That made the score 5-2 in the 86 minute of play. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
