The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hédi Chippo in the 7th minute of play forced Rocky Balboa F.C.'s goalkeeper Pedro Urdaspal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Pedro Urdaspal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hédi Chippo in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Ammar Aziza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hédi Chippo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rocky Balboa F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yassine Mhedhebi was slow to take the kick. During this time Symba's players had a chance to rest. Symba's Chaouki Loussayef played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Cresencio in the 21st minute of play. If Hédi Chippo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Hédi Chippo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Urdaspal. Rocky Balboa F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hédi Chippo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 29th match minute, Rocky Balboa F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. Symba's Sahbi Ben Mabrouk shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pedro Urdaspal but with some difficulty. 31 minutes into the game, Santo Firmo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rocky Balboa F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Symba the free kick. In the 31st match minute, Rocky Balboa F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Firmo to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Urdaspal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hédi Chippo in the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Hédi Chippo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Symba's supporters rose to their feet, but Hédi Chippo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Urdaspal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Pedro Urdaspal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hédi Chippo in the 40th minute of play. Pedro Urdaspal made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Yassine Mhedhebi sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Urdaspal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hédi Chippo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yassine Mhedhebi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Urdaspal firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 46th minute, Adolfo Quintun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jose Piorno to make the kick off. With a little luck, Symba's Chaouki Loussayef got control of the ball when Bernardino Cresencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Urdaspal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yassine Mhedhebi in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Symba booed when Rocky Balboa F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Bazkoare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Symba's Hédi Chippo got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Hédi Chippo notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Pedro Urdaspal. Pedro Urdaspal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 92 minutes into the match, Rocky Balboa F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hédi Chippo came free, but Pedro Urdaspal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Symba's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
