An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Siqueira in the 7th minute of play forced Ernestina FC's goalkeeper Jose Frederico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Damian Quinito fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ernestina FC's protests and gave Damian Quinito a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ernestina FC's Damian Quinito got a free kick in the 10th minute. Florentino Cordera hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Damian Quinito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu Ferreira having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ernestina FC's zone, Walmyr Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Frederico came out of the goal and Walmyr Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ernestina FC's Ramon Henric got a free kick in the 28th minute. When Mathias Siqueira came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Nada Pontual F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Siqueira couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Ernestina FC defense, Mathias Siqueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Frederico. The Ernestina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Frederico should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Raúl do Valle made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Walmyr Tasso took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Jose Frederico to make any attempt to save it. Ernestina FC's Jose Frederico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Ernestina FC from getting a goal against them. If Mathias Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Frederico made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Mathias Siqueira sent off a good shot on target. After 77 minutes, Raúl do Valle made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ernestina FC's Jose Frederico tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mathias Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jose Frederico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Raúl do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raúl do Valle in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Frederico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Ernestina FC defense, Mathias Siqueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Frederico. The Ernestina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Frederico should have stopped the shot.
