Janusz Pluciennik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Dudu Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Nada Pontual F.C's Mathias Siqueira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iwo Czeszyk. Iwo Czeszyk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Nada Pontual F.C's Dudu Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Pluciennik in the 44th minute of play. AS Monaco FC's Leonard Pawlak quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emerson Tepedino, made in the 46th minute of the game.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fábio Gonçalves to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Célio Sena during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
