Raul Faron who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Alekos Tabakis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of KAFSONAS F.C. booed when Pianello del Lario FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Faron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giotis Loizos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Sabin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Pianello del Lario FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giotis Loizos came free, but Valentin Sabin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kosmas Kouroupetroglou in the 16th minute of play forced Pianello del Lario FC's goalkeeper Valentin Sabin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pianello del Lario FC's Valentin Sabin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giotis Loizos in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Loukas Psomiadis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pianello del Lario FC's Nereo Oliviero got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Faron got free with Alekos Tabakis in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Pavlos Amanatidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Americo Sotil notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of KAFSONAS F.C.'s Alekos Tabakis. Alekos Tabakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute, Pantelis Kousis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 minutes of play, KAFSONAS F.C.'s Giotis Loizos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Sabin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valentin Sabin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zacharias Koronios went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kosmas Kouroupetroglou in the 46th minute of play forced Pianello del Lario FC's goalkeeper Valentin Sabin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half KAFSONAS F.C. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zacharias Koronios made a kick off. KAFSONAS F.C.'s Alekos Tabakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Sotil in the 52nd minute of play. Vlassis Labellis kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Valentin Sabin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacharias Koronios in the 80th minute of the match.
