The supporters of Capibaribe Stars booed when Blåvitt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Alströmmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pontus Valström came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Capibaribe Stars's Leonel Varela. But to his dismay, Leonel Varela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hannes Waller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Robert Malmström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathias Coelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olov Hedbom in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christer Aleberg got free with Mathias Coelho in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olov Wiklund kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Hannes Waller kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Acácio Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capibaribe Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Acácio Peres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Blåvitt's Olov Wiklund got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Danilo Teixeira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pontus Valström skillfully saved the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Blåvitt's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Peres came free, but Pontus Valström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmílson Silveira hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabinho Vasconcelos during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
